VELUX® windows are an excellent way of getting huge amounts of natural light within your loft conversion. Almost every loft conversion will have a VELUX® window fitted somewhere, even if it is a small window just to provide a source of natural light over a staircase.
The size of the rooms being created within your loft will have a large part to play in the decision of how many VELUX® windows are fitted and also the size of the window(s) chosen. When we select the size of your window(s) we not only consider the amount of light that will be required within the room being created but we must also consider the visual aspect and external appearance when looking at your property from the outside. If the window size selected is too large then this could have a major impact on the aesthetics of your property, something which is very important to us. Our aim is to get a good balance of natural light within yet at the same time it must not look too obtrusive from the outside. It can often look much more appealing to have two smaller windows mounted side-by-side rather than having one large window on its own.

We will survey your loft and liaise with you to ascertain your particular requirements, right down to the last details, to enable us to provide you with a fixed price quotation for your project in every case.
If chosen to carry out the work, we will draw your architectural plans to the agreed design which, once approved by yourselves, we will carry out the local authority building regulation and planning application submissions on your behalf to enable works to commence. Once we have the relevant approvals then the work can begin.
