Bedroom Conversions
Bedrooms are the most common requirement within the loft space and just about every house with a good roof height can have one.
Depending on the size of your existing loft and the type of conversion we are able to carry out, we can sometimes create more than one room. In some lofts we have been able to create two bedrooms with a shared bathroom and also a storage facility.
With all properties it is usually bedrooms that add value and a loft conversion is no exception. It is better to design your loft conversion with a bedroom in mind, even if you use it as an office, as this will add resale value to your property. At the same time we need to be careful not to over develop, after all, would you want to buy a seven bedroom, semi detached property in the middle of an estate!
Your loft conversion will need to be planned carefully as there will be some limiting factors, for instance the new loft staircase will play a big part of the loft layout as will any existing chimneys or gas flue pipes running out through your roof space.
In every case, a full loft survey is required to ascertain just what can or cannot be achieved.
